The Greatest Salesman in the World by Og Mandino has been a revelation for me this week. As part of the Master Keys Experience, I’ve been diving deep into Scroll 1, a powerful exploration of the role of habits in our lives. The exercise of reading this scroll daily for four days has been a profound journey of self-discovery.

I’ve always been aware of the power of habits, but this week has brought their influence into sharp focus. It’s astonishing how deeply ingrained our habits can become, often acting as invisible chains that bind us. Breaking free from these chains is no easy task, but it’s essential if we want to live a life of fulfillment and purpose.

One of the most challenging aspects of this week’s experience has been the 15-minute stillness meditation. It’s not so much about sitting through the 15 minutes as it is about overcoming the resistance to sitting. My mind has been a whirlwind of thoughts, constantly trying to distract me from the present moment. It’s a testament to the power of habit that even something as simple as sitting still can be so difficult.

I’ve also been experimenting with my morning routine. Instead of reaching for my phone first thing, I’ve been trying to make the book a priority. It’s been a struggle, but I’m starting to see the benefits. When I focus on the book, I feel more grounded and centered.

To help me stay on track, I created a table outlining my morning, afternoon, and evening routines. While I’ve been able to stick to the plan for the most part, I’ve also learned that life doesn’t always go according to plan. Last night, I was invited to dinner, and while I managed to read Scroll 1, I didn’t complete the other practices. This morning, I felt a bit flustered and off-balance.

However, I realized that the key to staying on track is not to be too rigid. It’s about being flexible and adaptable. By making adjustments to my routine and staying focused on my goals, I’ve been able to make significant progress. I’ve started new projects and have been more productive than ever before.

Even something as simple as rearranging my home office has had a positive impact. Facing a new direction has shifted something internally. I feel more inspired and motivated to work.
This week has been a transformative experience. It has shown me the power of habits and the importance of breaking free from those that hold me back.

By making conscious choices and staying committed to my goals, I’m creating a new life for myself.

This week has and is the start of my new life!
