So, I’d like to say that I have been a bit resistant to writing down my thoughts and sharing them in a blog. I am not sure the reasons for that, and don’t really want to analyze myself about it in this post, but I thought I would share some of what has been on my mind over the first week (even though I am writing this later than the first week).
First off, I have been receiving random emails about the MKE program from Mark for probably 5+ years. Not sure why I never unsubscribed, as I never engaged further, let’s call it God’s plan that this course would simmer in the background like the saying “when the student is ready the teacher appears…”
Anyway, I jumped in with the best of intentions and thinking that this would be an interesting “sales training course”. I realize now that it is not that, but rather a more wholistic approach to life with sales being touched on in the way that I had imagined.
That said, I have been playing catch up with a busy life and 2 hurricanes that I have been working through with my prep for my own home and businesses as well as the struggles the hurricanes have caused to friends and family here in FL and in NC.
I know those are all excuses and that we can all choose to prioritize our hours in other ways and that I chose what I did with my down time and that if I am honest, I could have done more, especially with how I have been thinking.
So, I have been digging in and feeling a bit overwhelmed. Thank you, Shirley, for the extra patience and grace about being late and encouraging us to move forward.
Lastly, I will share that I have also felt a bit lost and looking for more direction and specifics about what to do next in the course. I realize now that some of that is by design as the course is about figuring out our DMP on our own and as part of a master mind group and that my blue personality does not love that…
There you have it, excited about what we are all working toward!
So interesting to see that my journey is similar to yours and others, and I love what you wrote “MKE finds us when we are ready”.

You are spot on Ken, you in the zone of decisions. I felt the same way at first overwhelmed with all the new exercises that have been added to my schedule. But you wee spot on with your comment about how we have a choice to spend our available hours each day and I guarantee you if you continue to replace that old blueprint you will have more time than you know what to to with.

So glad you are here Ken! I enjoyed your honesty and openness. I am thrilled you are sticking with it. I find this course to be eye-opening in what we thought about a lot of things and come to find out we have more power than we think to change things.
Ken, thanks for your honesty in sharing all this. You are not alone and by your writing it here, you assure that others will know they are not alone either! And look at what you’ve endured with the two hurricanes just as you’re diving in to MKE. We’re giving you grace; please give yourself the same. Oh–as we like to say–MKE finds us when we are ready. It was the same with me…on the email list for YEARS…and then something clicked…and I am FOREVER grateful. There truly is nothing like it.
