Press Release – Ron Owens 10/31/2024

The following transcript is an interview with Ron Owens by Joe Rogan.

Rogan: Ron Owens; thanks for coming in.

Owens: Thanks for having me.

Rogan: We have some pretty cool stuff to talk about. Let’s start with why you decided to go down the path that you did and how it ended up so well for you.

Owens: Yeah; it actually started a few years ago when a friend of our reached out to us and asked us to take a look at something her and her husband were involved with that they thought we might be interested in.

Rogan: Was that the gold and silver thing?

Owens: It was and at first we really interested in even looking at it because we had been investing for gold and silver for years. Both of our parents knew and understood the importance of acquiring it and passed that knowledge to us. We had a relationship with a reputable dealer in New Orleans and felt like we knew everything we needed to know and we were all good. Then after a couple of times of our friend mentioning what they were doing I decided to take a look at it and I thought “Whoa! this is BRILLIANT”

Rogan: It must have been good for you to have that kind of reaction.

Owens: On a number of different levels. For as long as we had been in the gold and silver game; it was pretty much my wife and me; accumulating and stacking mostly bullion. For us it was mostly a defensive strategy for when the shit hits the fan and the economy collapses we would be protected. Plus being able to build a legacy for our two amazing daughters.

Rogan: Yeah. The thing is you cant do it like people have been doing for decades and expect to have what you need by investing in the stock market. I’ve been buying crypto for a few years now because it seems safer. But I’ve been hearing more and more about using gold and silver to do the same thing.

Owens: It’s a good idea to have some crypto because all you need is an internet connection to access funds. Oh and plus you have to be sure you NEVER lose your key. But then if the grid goes down and there is no Internet, you’re f***ed.

Rogan: I never thought about that but you’re right.

Owens: So anyway; they showed us how to acquire precious metals in a way I had not been aware of. Up until then; if I wanted to a gold bar or coin I had to have the whole amount to send to the company I was dealing with. Then there were the additional fees; the premiums the service fees, shipping and insurance. To get a break on the premiums I had to buy a minimum of $10K worth of metals. What this system does is let’s you buy as little as $1 if that’s all you can spend and they will store it for you as opposed to having to keep it in your house.

So, we changed the way we were buying metals which was all good. We did that for about a year and a half and then something happened that had a profound effect on my life view.

Rogan: What was that?

Owens: My daughter was visiting for Mother’s Day and she was sitting beside me in church. She looked at me and said “You need to get that spot on the side of your head checked”. She’s a PA and works in an urgent care facility in Tampa. Well that led to a conversation about how abysmally bad I have always been about going to the doctor.

Anyway, I said to her, “If you can promise me that you will stop carrying your phone next to your body; I’ll go to the doctor three times a day for the rest of my life”

Rogan: That’s pretty radical. Is that because of the whole EMF thing?

Owens: Yeah. I’ve been harping on my whole family about that stuff for years. But you know how young people are. They feel like they are invincible and none of that bad stuff will happen to them.

Rogan: I’m seeing more and more about the negative effects of that stuff on the human body. I interviewed Brian Hoyer who is a building biologist and when we were setting up the interview
he had all these questions about what kind of technology was in the building. Where was the
Wi-Fi router and a bunch of other questions. Then when he showed up he was wearing this
beanie hat that he said protected his head from EMFs and he had this pendant that was
supposed to mitigate the frequencies.

Owens: There’s a lot of things on the market now to help with that.

Rogan: He’s a smart dude and talked about all the science to support what he does.

Anyway, So your daughter said she would stop keeping her phone next to her body and then you had to start going to the doctor?

Owens: I did. I asked my neighbor who he went to and made an appointment with her. Of course the first thing they do is run a bunch of tests and mine came back off the freaking charts. My thyroid was lower than she had ever see ever seen. My cholesterol and calcium scores were higher than she had ever seen. She sent me to a cardiologist and I had to get a bunch more tests done and they found that I had 99.5% blockage of the main artery on the left side of my heart.

Rogan: No s**t!

Owens: Yeah. When they did the angiogram; he looked at the results and said, “We are going to send you directly to the hospital so we can go in immediately and fix this problem”.

I looked at my wife and all of the color had gone out of her face and she had this look of scared
on her face that I had never seen. I was trying to maintain my cool while at the same time keep
from soiling myself I assured her that everything was going to be OK. The whole thing felt
bizarrely surreal.

Rogan: That’s wild.

Owens: I ended up laying there for over an hour while they worked on finding a bed and someone to do the surgery. Eventually they said, “We wont be able to get you into the hospital until tomorrow morning so we are going to send you home and you need to be on complete bed rest. Then in the morning you can go to the hospital first thing”. They gave me a bottle of nitroglycerine tablets and sent me home with the instructions that if I felt any symptoms to go immediately to the ER.

Rogan: What was that like laying at home thinking you could drop dead any minute?

Owens: I was eating those nitro pills like they were Skittles. I couldn’t sleep and about 5:00 the next morning told my wife, “I think maybe I should go to the ER”. They put me in a room and
monitored me until they could get me in for the procedure which wasn’t until the next day.

Which was OK because it gave both of my daughters time to get there which is what I think
made me land in the place where I was thinking “I AM going to get through this”.

Rogan: So did they have to open you up and do open heart surgery?

Owens: The doctor came in to the pre-op room and I asked him what his plan was. He said they would see if they could fix it with a stent and if it was evident that wouldn’t work then they would have to do open heart. They ended up putting 2 stents in; one right up against the other.

Rogan: Dude you’re fucking lucky.

Owens: I’m not sure it was luck. While is was laying in the triage room waiting; I had a lot of time to think and at first my mind went to, “How the f**k did this happen to me? I’m an athlete.
I’ve done 80 marathons and that many triathlons. I live a clean life; I eat clean.” I’m the one
people point to as what healthy looks like.

Then I don’t know why but I started feeling this huge sense of gratitude. It’s not unusual for
people to drop dead running a race. I’ve seen it happen. That should have been me. In fact
when I went back to the cardiologist for my first follow up after getting out of the hospital. I was
sitting in his office and he was standing there looking at my results.

He set the papers down on the exam table, walked across the room and reached out to shake my hand. He said, “I have to shake your hand, you are a miracle and I’ve never actually met a miracle before. You should be dead. I’ve never seen numbers like this anywhere but in a corpse”.

I walked away from that appointment with a solid sense of ‘my work here is not done.’ The
whole thing for me absolutely was guided by the hand of God. I have no doubt about that. I still
don’t have a solid sense of what my higher purpose is; but I’m working on it.

Rogan: So how did it end up effecting your life?

Owens: Well for starters, the things that used to bother me… don’t anymore. I have a much greater appreciation for the fragility and finite nature of life and a level of gratitude that I didn’t know was possible. And as much as I don’t really have it completely figured out yet; I feel a higher calling to service for others.

Rogan: Do you think that’s why you have had the success that you have.

Owens: It’s probably a big part of it. With the precious metals, for the first year and a half I was pretty much in it for myself. Then when I started offering the opportunity to others, that’s when the business exploded. The more I gave; the more I got.

I feel like I’ve been given a second chance that I didn’t even know I needed.

Rogan: What a story! I appreciate you coming in for an interview.

Owens: Thanks for having me.
