Last year I had living conditions of extreme hot and cold weather with many storms that destroyed the landscape, no electricity for many days, polluted city water for 2 weeks, rotating blackouts of electricity and extreme crime with lock-downs 2 times, and 100 cars a day stolen from parking lots during summer months.
Appliances and heat-ac systems with computer chips had to be replaced due to on-off electricity. Drive-by shootings were rampant and police didn’t answer car accidents if no one was hurt. People didn’t leave their homes or they traveled with another person.
Home and car insurance went up. Grocery prices started to climb. Many elderly friends died. Hospitals were at capacity and sent people home if operations weren’t emergency. The fear changed my health and well being.
This year is different! Our police and National Guard are working hard to keep us safe. Parking lots are blocked with one way in and one way out. More police cameras at intersections to deter crime. There is more use of home security cameras to trace vehicles or people in neighborhoods.
Most important is: I am exercising, resting, relaxing, and giving up the fear of being out in public. My health has improved! I am taking back my power to talk, smile, and give a gift to everyone I meet! I am aware of the power of the mind within!!!
