This week in reading and contemplating the Master Key part 8, number 7, I was really struck by what was written regarding how our:
Imagination gathers up the material by which the Mind weaves the fabric in which your future is to be clothed. Charles Haanel
What a beautiful way to write about such a deep thought. I am really working on cleaning up the “materials” around me, and noticing with a sharper magnifying lens more than ever at how much material is around me that I did not realize was placed here.
I am starting to not only see, but feel how the material I leave around for my imagination to gather is affecting not only my mood, but my creativity, and the results that I am beginning to feel as I work on myself and deliberately take inspired action.
I have obviously been weaving fabric my whole life, and much of what I have created has been great, but I am also seeing that much of what I have woven has been a lazy fabric design and that I am capable of creating more beautiful clothing.
I am seeing and feeling that it is time for me to be much more deliberate about the future I visualize for myself and my family. That as the architect, I need to not just focus my thinking more and more deliberately, but that I need to pay attention to the material that is around me.
It has been a powerful 8 weeks to more carefully pay attention to what I see, hear, read, think about, and focus on. The beauty of what I have been learning here is that I am in control of all of that, and that as I pay more attention, and as I work on using better materials, I can visualize more clearly the future I want to see.
This is helping me to weave fabric in my mind that is much more in keeping with the purposeful design that I am after!

Ken, I love how you are untethering from the things that no longer serve you. Decluttering is something I am focussed on as well. Great post.
Ken, you so beautifully expand the idea of being “the Observer” that we are working to be in MKE! This was powerful for me: “It has been a powerful 8 weeks to more carefully pay attention to what I see, hear, read, think about, and focus on. The beauty of what I have been learning here is that I am in control of all of that, and that as I pay more attention, and as I work on using better materials, I can visualize more clearly the future I want to see.” So excited for your powerfully woven future!
