Two Roads of Development
It’s become clear to me that as we develop the ability to create, to manifest by impressing on our subconscious mind our desires that we must also work on developing our awareness and moving toward a purity of thought in our daily lives.
The ideas in the Master Key Experience, the mental diet, no opinions for a week are such powerful ideas. They are the most important ideas. According to research, the average person has approximately 60,000 thoughts per day.
But what is truly concerning is that 75% of these thoughts are negative, and 95% are repetitive. Its become clear to me from the master key system that these negative thoughts are most definitely influencing our environment.
The law of growth is most certainly in action so what are we planting in the soil of our mind if we allow these thoughts to go unchecked on a daily basis? We must now be more vigilant of what we allow into our minds.
Look around at the chaos in the world, it all starts with an unchecked negative thoughts. Learn to keep the door shut, keep out of your mind, out of your office and out of your world every element that seeks admittance with no definite helpful end in view.
What you think means more than anything else in your life. George Matthews Adams
We have to guard the gates of our mind, we have to learn to detect these thoughts the moment they show up. We must develop an inner observer whilst we are doing this work.
Can we become an observer that can look at our daily thoughts both good and bad non-judgementally and let them go or replace the negative unhelpful ones with better thoughts using the law of substitution?
We have to become the observer of our thought. Its essential that we do or we will be a slave to our thought. Some one cuts you off in traffic? What thoughts pours in? Can we catch them? If we can we can respond maybe even with a sense of humour now that we care practicing a little detachment from our usual repetitive reactionary thoughts and the anger rise up with them!
Can we replace them, perhaps the person was rushing to the hospital? Either way we now take our power back. A type of separation from thought is most definitely needed, this is where meditation can be so useful, the sits, we can see quite quickly see are the observer of our thoughts and not the thoughts.
Dr Maurice Nicoll advises us to look at our mind as a country, every country has good and bad areas. Where do you live in your psychological county? Do you live in a slum? Or a mansion.
There are similar ideas in the Master Key System. We would never go into a dangerous area physically, but we do it daily psychologically. We do not realise our psychological landscape is bigger and has a lot more dangerous areas than our physical world.
In these different localities in the inner space, we will get what is there, in slums we will be knocked on the head. One usually walks in “unpleasant places” and expects outer life to be nice and pleasant. How can this be possible?
Only by sincere self-confession, self observation can you be aware of where you are dallying internally in your psychological world. Every internal state is a place.
If we ignore this fact we may manifest our dream but we won’t be happy for long. The lives of countless celebrities and lottery winners show us this is a fact.
Our mental diet is of paramount importance and our future happiness depends on it.
