Gisela has degrees in Behavioral Science, Criminal Justice, Education, Coaching and is an EFT therapist. As an entrepreneur, she rents part of her home and is always looking for ways to grow and expand. Now retired, she is creative, enthusiastic, peaceful, positive, deeply analytic, insightful, smart and focused yet so soft, warm and fuzzy.
She´s had many triumphs and made many mistakes. Titles don´t mean a thing when you feel broken. So, she decided to restore herself. The Japanese call this: “kintsukuroi” the art of repairing broken pottery with a lacquer made from gold, silver or platinum.
Gisela is intensely and meticulously taking the broken pieces and creating a most magnificent and unique work of art. A work of love and dedication. A work necessary to be her authentic self. As she completes this, she can be of SERVICE to humanity in a more REAL way: without shame, guilt or feeling of lack. She understands that she is a work in progress.
Thank you Day :)! I do feel honored and humbled to be chosen for the week. Thank you for your unconditional service and wise interventions every week. I am sooooo excited and really pumped to continue! 🙂

Gisela, I have always loved that Japanese practice of highlighting brokenness with gold…and I love how you’ve worded that for YOUR life and MKE journey. “Gisela is intensely and meticulously taking the broken pieces and creating a most magnificent and unique work of art. A work of love and dedication. A work necessary to be her authentic self.” Cheering you on in the making whole to “be of SERVICE to humanity in a more REAL way: without shame, guilt or feeling of lack.”
What an amazing post, Gisela. Super inspiring – making lemonade from lemons. Thank you for sharing your story!
