I am a passionate chef, educator, and advocate for creating positive change through food, education, and financial empowerment. My journey has been shaped by a deep love for food, a keen sense of community, and a desire to help others. Each of these passions has influenced who I am today and what to accomplish in the future.

At the core of everything I do is my love for food. Cooking has always been more than just a hobby for me—it is a way to connect with others, celebrate culture, and express creativity. My passion for cooking is deeply rooted in my family traditions. Growing up, food was a central part of family gatherings, and every dish carried with it stories, memories, and love.

While I have not yet written my cookbook, it remains one of my most important goals. The idea of sharing my family recipes with the world excites me because I believe in the power of food to bring people together.

These recipes are more than just instructions for preparing a meal—they are reflections of my family’s history and the flavors that have been passed down through generations. I envision the cookbook as a way to preserve this heritage and introduce others to the joy of creating delicious, meaningful meals.

My passion for cooking has taken me on countless culinary adventures, exploring cuisines from diverse cultures and experimenting with new ingredients and techniques. As someone who loves to travel, I have had the opportunity to experience a wide range of flavors from around the world.

Every place I visit, whether it is a bustling city or a small village, offers something unique to the culinary landscape. This appreciation for global cuisine has only deepened my understanding of the universal language of food.

In 2014, I had the extraordinary opportunity to build a bottle school in Guatemala. This project was an incredibly meaningful part of my journey and reinforced my commitment to giving back.

A bottle school is a sustainable building constructed using plastic bottles filled with waste materials, providing an environmentally friendly solution to both education and waste management issues in under-served communities. The school we built in Guatemala not only offered a safe place for children to learn but also helped improve the community’s sustainability efforts.

This experience was life-changing because it allowed me to combine two of my passions—helping others and promoting sustainability. It also strengthened my belief that education is one of the most powerful tools to create lasting change. The sense of fulfillment I gained from working on this project has fueled my desire to continue making an impact, whether through community service or future initiatives.

Growing up in Mount Vernon, New York, has also played a significant role in shaping my values and aspirations. My hometown is where I developed a deep sense of community, a strong work ethic, and an appreciation for family and friends.

I believe that the bonds we form with the people around us are some of the most important aspects of life, and I strive to maintain these connections in everything I do.

I am a strong advocate for family and community values, and this translates into my desire to help others build successful, fulfilling lives. One of the ways I do this is through network marketing, where I focus on educating people about the importance of precious metals like gold and silver.

In today’s ever-changing financial landscape, precious metals represent stability and security. They have been used for centuries as stores of value, and I am passionate about teaching others how they can preserve their wealth and protect their financial future through these assets such as gold, silver, and collectable coins.

My journey though life has also led me to explore natural medicine and holistic healing. I am a firm believer in the power of natural remedies and the importance of living a healthy, GMO-free lifestyle. This interest in natural healing aligns with my values of sustainability and conscious living.

I believe that the food we eat, the remedies we use, and the lifestyle choices we make can significantly impact our overall well-being. This is why I am passionate about advocating for natural solutions that promote health and vitality.

Looking ahead, one of my most ambitious dreams is to build youth centers across the United States. These centers will be safe havens for kids, offering them the resources and support they need to learn, grow, and build successful lives. I envision these centers as places where young people can acquire essential life skills, such as cooking, financial literacy, professional writing, social skills, and entrepreneurship.

I believe that providing kids with the tools to succeed from an early age is critical to their future success. By teaching them how to cook, manage their finances, communicate effectively, and think entrepreneurially, we can equip the next generation with the skills they need to thrive. These youth centers will focus on academic learning, practical real-world skills essential for personal and professional growth.

Through these centers, I hope to create environments where young people feel empowered to pursue their dreams and make positive contributions to their communities. My vision is to build a network of these centers across the country, offering kids a safe place to learn, grow, and develop the skills necessary to achieve their full potential.

In everything I do, whether it’s cooking, educating, or volunteering, my mission is to uplift others and help them realize their potential. Every person can achieve greatness, and I am committed to being a positive force in their journey toward success.

Whether I am sharing a family recipe, teaching someone about the value of precious metals, I find joy in making a meaningful impact in the lives of others.

Life is about pursuing your passions and using them to make a difference. For me, that means sharing the love of food, empowering others through education, and working toward a brighter, more sustainable future for the next generation.

  • Just WOW!, Jerry. What an adventurer you are in all kinds of ways. You sum it all so powerfully at the end: “Life is about pursuing your passions and using them to make a difference. For me, that means sharing the love of food, empowering others through education, and working toward a brighter, more sustainable future for the next generation.” I especially appreciated your insight into your sustainability experience building structures with bottles. I can also hear your delighted young chefs, learning, exploring, and enriching their lives while studying with you at no cost and developing appreciation, through food, of their personal history, various cultures–all the while creating community for the support and challenge so many long for and don’t have. Cheering you on!

  • Thank you Gerardo for rekindling the memories of my childhood, sitting at the dinner table with my two older sisters Susie and Chrissy, my great uncle and my mom sharing our day. As I recall those memories I can smell my mom’s enchiladas, her goulash, and other dishes I loved eating as a child. You are going to make a huge difference in our youth by teaching them skills for life. Keep up the good work!
