Interviewer: Mike Slizewski, Former Editor of Iron County Review.
Press Release:
It was a pleasure to have a conversation with an old friend today. I knew Brian Kreitzer when he was the advertising and sales manager when we both worked at the Iron County Review. Now I was sitting with him on the wrap around porch of his newly constructed dream home. We were looking at the West Hills of Zion National Park as the Sandstone Monoliths were shining with a radiance that can only happen when the sun is setting and sharing its last rays of the day, on one of nature’s most impressive works of art.
The view was stunning. Equally impressive was the home. Built using Structural Insulated Panels or SIPS as they are called, this building material had made it possible to create massive open areas with exposed rough sawn beams. Everywhere I looked you could tell the home was built by craftsmen, who cared about even the smallest detail. From the hickory cabinets to the green and brown granite counter tops that had a pattern that was almost mystical. Large windows brought the beauty of nature into the home, while a towering fireplace built of native stone, beckoned me to relax and warm myself.
I had to ask Brian what was the key to his success. He explained that one of the keys was learning to be honest with yourself. He further explained, most people go through life living others people’s dreams without even recognizing that they are doing it. This is what he said had happened to him. It all starts innocently enough he stated. People share their advice and opinion on what is a good career path or what you should study in college.
The next thing you know you have bought into their idea and you begin living your life, trying to be what someone else thought you should be. The passion and fulfillment are not there, you just go through life trying to be like everyone else. Having a life, but not Living Your Life.
Brian stated things started to improve when he began to listen to his heart and gut. He began pursuing things he was passionate about and began to develop his unique gifts. He found ways to make his gifts, talents and passions create their own financial rewards. Instead of living what others felt was the way to live.
Figuring out what his talents were and how to make the things he was passionate about pay, required a lot of introspection and self-analysis. Something most people do not do. Changing the way you think and act requires a lot of hard work. Consistently picking yourself up off the wrestling mat of life, each time you realize you could done things better, is a constant effort. It is something you must be willing to do if you are going to live your dreams he stated.
Most of this personal discovery came in the later years of his life. One thing he discovered was that he had a talent for, and loved doing was public speaking. In 2025 he won the World Championship of Public Speaking. This accomplishment served as a spring board to many other achievements. Including a professional Speaking career where he is known for his Captivating ability to inspire people to follow their dreams. He also has authored two bestselling Books and has another in the process.
Another activity he finally decided he had been ignored for years was his belief in the Network Marketing Business Model. Since coming to grips with this discovery he and his wife have built an international ASEA Business. Obtaining the rank of Ambassador Diamond, helping countless people improve their Health and financial status.
Remarkably another thing he has done in his later years is expand his passion for running. Brian did not start running until he was 48 and now at 74 he has run over 42 marathons. In 2025 he raced a total of 1010 miles completing 11 Ultra Marathons that year.
All things considered, this interview with Brian was truly remarkable. You could feel his concern for people and I left inspired to bring my own Dreams to life.
Great story, Brian; keep running to your dreams and maybe finding new dreams along the way.
