JUST RELEASED – AN INTERVIEW WITH GRANDMOTHER OF THE YEAR – 2026 – THORA KREITZER by reporter Mike Davis
Just last evening I was sitting in one of the swings on the wrap-around porch of the rustic 3200 square foot home of the Grandmother of the Year, Thora Kreitzer, along with her husband Brian. Thora graciously granted me an interview with her. My first request was for her to describe a typical day here in this amazing place this Fall. Here is Thora’s reply in her own words.
“I am living in a beautiful rustic 3200 sq. ft. one-story home. I love my high ceilings and rough cut beams. My home is on 20 acres of partially wooded and partially groomed land.Â
“It is exciting this morning riding my bike on my own bike path, especially this Fall, taking in the array of splendid colors and feeling gratitude for this gift.Â
“I just put my bike away and walk into my kitchen to the aroma of a mouth-watering omelet with mushrooms, onions, and perfectly spiced venison sausage made from this year’s deer hunt, created by my chef, that meets my expectations of taste while being very nutritious.
“In the afternoon I am creating a pair of Christmas pajamas for each of my 14 grandchildren in my sewing room that is organized and enjoyable to work in. I am joyful and very satisfied with seeing the happy faces of my grandchildren putting on the Christmas pajamas I so lovingly made for them.Â
“It is evening now and I am sitting out in the swing on my wrap-around porch, soaking up the last warm rays of the sun as it sets behind the multi-colored scenic mountains. Life is amazing.”
My next question was, How did you arrive in this place and time? Her answer pleasantly surprised me. Thora said, and I quote:
“Just over 2 years ago, my husband and I enrolled in a program called The Master Key Experience. This program called for a lot of personal development, growth, and changes in our habits.Â
“We asked ourselves if we could do this intense program and change at our ages of 69 and 67. After week 5 of the program we made the deep commitment to this program, ourselves, and to our business to become who we are now and to help others do the same thing.Â
“We worked very hard on the steps in this program and in our network marketing business. The two went hand in hand and we made great progress for us, our family, and our business family. It has been an exciting adventure and we are not through yet.”
As I sat in that swing as the sun was setting, I could feel the satisfaction of the day and the excitement for tomorrow. I thanked Thora and went on my way with a huge sense of hope for myself and for my readers. It can be done at any age.
Sincerely, Mike Davis
