Interview with The Brooklyn Exponet
March 17, 2027

Journalist: Today, we have the pleasure of speaking with Darren Wayne Grodi, a successful Realtor, real estate investor, and remote closer with an inspiring story of growth, vision, and dedication. Darren, it’s great to have you here.

Darren: Thank you so much! It’s an honor to be here.

Journalist: You’ve made some impressive strides over the past few years. Could you start by sharing some of your journey with us?

Darren: Absolutely. The journey started with a vision I wrote down a few years ago, setting clear intentions to improve my physical health, financial freedom, and family life. I committed to working out consistently, eating mindfully, and reaching an ideal weight of 185 pounds, which I achieved by March 2025.

I also envisioned building a real estate portfolio of over $5 million by December 2027. Reaching that milestone has been a profound step in creating a life of liberty and passive income.

Journalist: What motivated you to set such specific goals for your health and your career?

Darren: My health was central to being my best self in every role I hold Realtor, husband, father, and remote closer. By setting a specific weight target and habits, like taking 10 mindful bites per meal and exercising three times weekly, I noticed a significant boost in my energy and confidence. It kept me present for my family and clients.

In business, the goal of $5 million in real estate assets came from my desire to establish financial freedom, generating over $200,000 annually in passive income. It’s incredibly fulfilling to see it all coming together.

Journalist: You also have a strong connection to remote closing with Joshua T. Osborne’s company. Can you tell us about that?

Darren: Becoming a top closer with Joshua T. Osborne’s team was a huge part of my journey. There’s an amazing feeling when I help people take the next step in transforming their businesses. Hitting $175,000 per year by November 2026 felt incredible. I approach each closing with enthusiasm, and when a deal closes, I pump my fist in the air and yell, “LET’S GO!” It’s a thrill that drives me to keep improving and refining my skills every week.

Journalist: And you’re a dedicated learner as well, right?

Darren: Yes, I make it a point to listen to or read sales books and podcasts for at least 30 minutes, five times a week. Each session fuels my growth and mindset, allowing me to bring my best self to every client, colleague, and challenge I face. Continuous learning is foundational for me.

Journalist: Your dedication to self-improvement really shows. Outside of work, we hear you’re quite the family man. What’s life like with your family?

Darren: My family is my world. My wife, Shortz, and I cherish raising our daughters, and we’ve embraced unschooling, which lets them explore their interests in a creative, nontraditional way. I always aim to treat others with kindness, including my own family. Our home is full of laughter and love, which I’m so grateful for every day.

Journalist: You’re also an avid golfer at The Grande Golf Club. How does that fit into your life?

Darren: Golf is a great way for me to relax and enjoy life. By July 2025, I’d reached financial freedom, which allowed me to fully enjoy my membership at The Grande Golf Club. There’s something almost magical about feeling the soft, warm breeze as I line up my shot. It’s one of the many rewards I envisioned for myself and worked hard to achieve.

Journalist: That sounds wonderful. And finally, what mantra or philosophy has guided you through this journey?

Darren: “KEEPSMILING” has been my anchor. I start every day with a gratitude attitude, saying, “I love you, Darren Wayne Grodi,” and that reminder keeps me focused on what truly matters. I believe in keeping promises, being kind, and leading with positivity. I know that if I stay true to these principles, I can manifest any goal into reality.

Journalist: Darren, thank you for sharing your inspiring story with us. It’s clear that your journey is only beginning, and we look forward to seeing all that you accomplish.

Darren: Thank you! I’m grateful for the opportunity to share my journey, and I hope it inspires others to create their own path to success.
