Things my Dog taught me. Unconditional love, cast all pain, hurt and unforgiveness into the sea of forgetfulness and remember it no more. Living unconditional love is the hardest lesson you will ever live and do. Pain, hurt and unforgiveness is a package deal that presents everything at one time.
This week covers were removed, and the content was examined and the offer to purge wasteful habits, time stealers and acknowledgement of miracles and blessings.
It was refreshing to hear the story of the car that called the emergency services and reported the low impact accident that saved the gentleman’s life “Truly the hand of God”. Twenty plus years on the job and this was her first encounter with a brush of death! Remarkable!
I am excited to be here, the remark “miracle are everywhere” all around you and that is so true. We rise besides one everyday of our lives. Waking up and being clothed in our right mind is a daily miracle. If, we would view that in proper context no one would be able to offend us the rest of the day.
Just sitting and meditating on the blessings we get to give to others and others give to us in return are amazing.
Roosevelt, your reflections on unconditional love and miracles are truly moving. It’s incredible how much we can learn from the simplicity and purity of a dog’s love—no judgment, no grudges, just love in its purest form.
Your insight on pain, hurt, and unforgiveness being a “package deal” really hits home. It’s like carrying around extra weight that only slows us down. Purging those wasteful habits and time stealers, as you mentioned, is such a freeing process.
Miracles really are everywhere when we take the time to see them. I was drawn to your expression on waking up with a sound mind as a daily miracle—because it truly is. Imagine if we carried that gratitude with us all day long… how different would our interactions be?
