My Thoughts Create My Life

My thoughts and an extremely nasty cold/flu have gotten me to a point this week where I’ve fallen off the wonderful habit of being up before 5 am, doing my readings, sit and recitations and keeping myself clear of the daily panic and drama of social media and the news.

Family drama has attempted to pull me in as well, and I continue to soldier on with my head held high and resisting the temptation to back-pedal into behaviors I know don’t serve the person I intend to become.

Feeling better by tomorrow and getting up at 5 am again is my only real goal after pushing myself to do what work was absolutely necessary this week and then allowing myself to sit on the couch and just be today.

I miss how I felt when I was faithful to my readings and sit.

I shall return!
