Week #8
I’m Here

I’m working, I’m showing up. I don’t like blogging but I’m here anyway.

I can see the connections and serendipitous happenings and I’m liking it and it’s keeping me moving forward.

Only for Tommy, Rina and Adrian I might have given up already. Our mastermind alliance is the best educator and support network.

Some weeks it takes me until Thursday to watch the webby due to other commitments (Monday is my free day), I am blogging here Friday morning and am only now sitting down to watch as much as I can of week 8 before I have to leave again. I’ll get there.

The DMP is very hard for me as for the last 50 years I have been living my life for other people and here I am now putting myself not only first but in the centre.

Mark said somewhere that a lot of people say they are afraid. This is me. I can see things changing and I’m afraid of what that will bring.

My old blueprint always had me in a submissive position, a helper, a doer. Never front and centre. I still don’t like being in the spotlight and have no wish to be.

Maybe that’s why I don’t like the blogs. I have no interest in the world knowing about me. If I meet someone face to face, I will tell them my whole life story but I don’t want strangers knowing about me.

  • I am happy for you that you are putting yourself first, it’s a big step and you are taking it.
Your blogs are always a great read and a record for yourself as to how you are doing each week.
No matter what you think, you are changing and growing!
We are all here cheering you on.

  • I wonder if it is possible to see our journey here as service, as a way of helping others, by sharing some of our story. Blogging here, in this large group, carries a feeling of anonymity. You were born with greatness that only you can contribute. Just coming to grips with that thought can be a huge hurdle to overcome. I know it is for me. Congratulations on noticing the things that can only be experienced and not read about, and hanging in there!
