Autonomy and Liberty

I have to admit, I’ve struggled to keep up with the 45 tasks we’re supposed to complete each week, and this week is no exception. I’ve realized that it’s simply too much to absorb in such a short period.

So, I’ve decided to do only as much as I can manage. This isn’t defeatist thinking; it’s a practical approach. I’ve restructured my priorities as follows:

Sunday Meetings: I will attend the Sunday meetings, take notes, and engage with the new challenges presented each week. This week’s focus is a mental diet, which I see as an excellent way to tackle the negative thoughts that often occupy my mind.

Meditation: I will practice meditation where I visualize my future self—the person I aspire to become.

Reading Assignments: I will stay consistent with the readings, including the chapters/scrolls and weekly Haanel writings.

Colored Cards and Shapes: I’ve adjusted the color schemes to make them more meaningful for me and have reorganized the small colored cards by shapes and colors.

Red: Represents health. When I see red in any shape, it reminds me of activities like workouts, golf, maintaining a healthy diet, and nurturing relationships with friends and family.

Yellow: Symbolizes gratitude. Seeing yellow—whether in lights, vehicles, or flowers—reminds me to reflect on the things I’m truly grateful for: clean air, good food, freedom, love from my family, and the safety we often take for granted.

Blue: Represents manifestations, like the sky or ocean. It reminds me of the goals I aim to achieve: happiness, wealth, houses, cars, planes, boats—essentially things money can buy—and other forms of currency like Bitcoin, gold, silver, and land.

Green: Reflects my Personal Pivotal Needs (PPNs)—autonomy and liberty. Green reminds me of my goals to achieve these needs, such as acquiring small businesses worldwide, gaining citizenship in Mexico, and establishing residency in other countries. These represent true autonomy and freedom.

When I see specific shapes—triangles, rectangles, circles, or squares—they remind me of the corresponding colors and the intentions behind them. For instance, a triangle triggers the thought of a green triangle, which connects to autonomy and liberty.

Core Practices: I’ll continue using the receiving and giving cards, the DMP (Definite Major Purpose) movie trailer, the DMP card, reading the scrolls, the blueprint builder, and “The Man in the Mirror” poem. I believe these assignments are crucial and will remain part of my routine.

That said, I’ve decided not to commit to the Marco Polo meetings. While I understand the importance of masterminding, I find these meetings to be a distraction from my daily tasks. I already have a mastermind group outside of the Master Key Experience (MKE), composed of successful individuals who have achieved what I aspire to. This group meets regularly, and their support has been invaluable.

I once felt unworthy of meeting with my mastermind group due to a loss of confidence stemming from setbacks—losing my direction, my business, and my sense of self-worth. This course, however, has helped me realize that my absence was not because I lacked time or capability but because I doubted myself.

Now, I’ve regained much of my confidence and am reconnecting with my mastermind group. I firmly believe that the tools and lessons from the MKE experience are significant and will continue to use them to work toward my goals.

Meet Mark Nicklom

Hi, I’m Mark. I’m semi-retired after a long career as an entrepreneur, mainly in the oil industry. I’m now eager to apply my business experience and knowledge to explore new opportunities, potentially in real estate or other exciting ventures.
