Haanel has really gotten my attention this week in Part 8 of the Master Key. In 8.24 he states:
Successful men make it their business to hold ideals of the conditions which they wish to realize. They CONSTANTLY hold in mind THE NEXT STEP necessary to the ideal for which they are striving. Charles Haanel
In 8.25 he goes on:
If you have been faithful to your ideal, you will hear the call when circumstances are ready to materialize your plans and results will correspond in the exact ratio of your fidelity to your ideal. The ideal steadily held is what pre-determines and attracts the necessary conditions for its fulfillment. Charles Haanel
This is the new Blueprint. We are learning to hold our ideals from our DMP ever before us. That is the meaning of fidelity or being faithful to our ideal. We are to steadily hold our ideal before us
To develop our imagination, which we must in order to construct our ideal, we are to practice taking an object and bring it back to its origination.
We are to practice keen analytical observation which leads us to look below the surface, and the result is we develop insight, perception and wisdom. What we are looking for is to know the underlying causes for the effects which we see.
This mental training prepares us to receive THE NEXT STEP.
We’ve been at this for 2 months now and I am able to understand that this Master Key Experience cannot be acquired merely by reading about it, it must be lived. It is a discipline of developing new habits and a new view of reality. It requires practice, effort, commitment and persistence.
I am becoming a new person. I surprise myself every day with something new and it is delightful!

This is exactly it, Janet! You’ve hit the name on the head. Most people are not successful because we have not done the work to manifest what’s in our thoughts because we’re programmed by other people. Successful people are those that can hold and craft their imagination until it becomes so. Thanks for sharing!
