Is This My Dream

Have you ever felt like giving up? Like there was no way out? Well if you have felt that way you are not alone.

Here is a thought to consider. What if what we were experiencing was supposed to be happening? What if it what we are experiencing was part of the process to make us Great.

I was listening to a presentation this week by Myron Golden on Joseph from the Bible. You know the Story. Joseph had a dream and in that dream he was told that he would do great things and that his brothers would bow down to him.

His brothers didn’t like that and wanted to kill him. Instead of killing him however, they sold him into Slavery. Slavery was a far cry from what he had been told would happen in his dream. However it was all part of the process.

None of the good things which happened to Joseph could have happened if he had not first gotten sold into Slavery. Do you think maybe perhaps there could be a parallel to that in your life? Is it possible that some of the difficult things we experience in life are simply things along the path of us becoming who we are meant to be?

What would it mean if the difficult times in life were really blessings? What if we were like a seed and had to be pushed into the ground so that we could pop out of the ground and grow into a beautiful plant?

What if our perception is our reality? What if it really was within our potential to change our lives by changing our thoughts? What if difficult was part of the process? What if the Valley was part of the peak we were supposed to climb?

Would that give you hope? Would that give you the true perspective? What if the reason you were feeling down and out was because you were thinking you were down and out. What if you BELIEVED the perspective, that what YOU were experiencing was in fact the process, of bringing YOUR DREAM TO LIFE?

Would it change things?
Would it change you?
Could it be TRUE?
WHY NOT?
Happy DREAMING !

  • Difficult times are hard to get through. When I moved from Chicago to Hawaii, it was not because my circumstances were terrific. Finances were terrible, and the economy was too. But I love Hawaii. I struggled here, but I am now the happiest I have ever been here. It was worth the difficult times to get here. I have maintained a positive attitude through the struggles and knew things would work out (at least most of the time). Better things are coming, I know it. Dreams do come true. It is not always the easy path we would like, but believing makes it happen. Keep dreaming.
