“Faith is evolving us to a new consciousness of power.”
— Charles Haanel, The Master Key System, 11:27
One of the things I love about truth is that it manifests itself in many different ways. This week, in chapter 11, I feel like I’ve got a simple Sunday school lesson just NOT in church.
In section 17, Haanel quotes Mark 11:24, “Whatsoever you desire, pray, believe you receive them, and you will have them. “
I grew up as a kid memorizing this verse. If we prayed for it, in about 30 seconds, I would have it; in the worst-case scenario, I would receive it the next day. (Child-like Faith) After a while, I explained the unanswered prayers, wishes, and wants.
Truthfully, I superficially looked at God like a Santa Claus or Genie who was supposed to deliver my every wish. Thankfully, I grew up.
In section 19, Haanel writes, “We are thinking on the plane of the absolute and eliminating all considerations of conditions or limitation and are planting a seed which, if left undisturbed, WILL germinate into external reality.”
He defines inductive reasoning and the operation of the thought process (20 & 21). It meant living with so much Faith, knowing that what I prayed for would come to fruition so that I could live life with a “Happy knack” because I trust God, the Infinite, who is taking care of me.
I can live as if I will have more than what I have dreamed or asked for.
And then again, in section 35, Haanel quotes Hebrew 11, “Believe that you receive and you shall receive. “ He also quotes, “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.“ Simple truths I grew up believing.
He ends the chapter by taking these very common biblical verses and putting them into everyday practice. “By far the greatest discovery of all centuries is the power of thought! “ (29)
“Thought reaches its loftiest activity when plunged into its own mysterious depth when it breaks through the narrow compass of self and passes from truth to truth to the region of eternal light, where all which is, was or ever will be, melt into one grand harmony.” (31).
What a poetic way to delve in and teach me to take my Faith to its core. THOUGHT is the energy that creates miracles. Belief, Faith, love, and all the beautiful Biblical truths I learned all my life begin with THOUGHT! What we think matters.
I love that I have been led to connect with the Master Key Experience (MKE) and all of you. I give a lot of the credit to my being here to my first guide Candy S.
Without going into details, I had every reason to blow this off. She met me on Zoom shortly after I returned home, starting a few weeks late. She assured me she was there to support me. That is all I needed to know; one person has my back. That kept me going.
What got you to take the MKE plunge? We all chose to be here. I am guessing we all want some sort of change in life.
For me, “the health nut,” I was BUSY selling a water device. 2 years later, I am home, pursuing a Health Coaching Degree and babysitting my granddaughter. I never dreamed I could be this content. Not everything is perfect, but I feel at peace that this IS what I am supposed to be doing right now.
I never would have seen this coming 2 years ago. What brought me here? Many, many sits, asking good questions and being content listening to the Divine and then acting on what I am supposed to be doing that day.
The life I have now was never my goal. It was not on my DMP. It morphed one step at a time. The funny thing is that, with this simplicity, I am the happiest and most content I have ever been.
I joined MKE for business. Thought it would propel me to a big monetary goal I thought I was “supposed to have.” Funny how life evolves.
My life went 180 degrees in the opposite direction. Yet, I can say with more confidence than ever before, “I am APPLYING the knowledge I have and believe,” this is me.

How is Faith evolving you to your new consciousness of power?

This is a fab share, Terri! How exciting that right now you are “the happiest and most content” you have ever been”–having plugged into the wisdom and habits of the MKE to have this PRESENT–pun intended! It’s clearly a gift you earned by doing the work and having years of cement fall off. You asked what got me to plunge into MKE. Yes…I also knew our minds and spirits could accomplish incredible things and I didn’t want to waste what I was given when I knew Jesus’ miracles were real and his telling us we would do more than He! Yes!
