Hit two parts of my DMP in one trip
I spent a quick weekend in Clearwater Beach, just outside of Tampa. Travel is one of the focuses in my DMP, which has the goal of at least one trip per quarter, and I officially had 2 this quarter now!
It was just a quick jaunt, Friday to Sunday, but I still had time to take in the sunsets on the bay Fridat night and Saturday night. I even was able to have my feet in the bay for the Saturday sunset, doing a lot of sun gazing as the sun set that evening.
Also, another part of my DMP is to increase the number of associates in one of my direct sales companies. This trip was for training all day Saturday, with a smaller group of us, so we had more access to the leaders for questions and to just meet them.
I met a lot of people, learned a lot, made plans with a couple of my leaders, plus had a lot of fun. There’s so much that you can accomplish virtually but nothing IMHO replaces meeting someone face to face with a hug!
I was flying back during the Sunday class time, so I was able to finally listen to the broadcast yesterday afternoon. Lots of things are gelling together and I’m enjoying the chance to ride the energy wave of being on the right path.
My networking group this morning had an exercise regarding a one page business plan. When I was prepping last night, I realized that I still don’t like the terminology that the traditional planning folks use, like SWOT or CSR.
Yet when I got past that resistance, I was able to plug most of DMP into the plan, along with my other daily goals and some of my tasks that I’m working on with my Alliance partner. Because my main DMP was already setup for 1-1-26, I had that one year goal question nailed.
Not so much with my 5 year goal, so I realize now that my interview probably needs some more work. Still, it’s good to know that I can translate the details into other formats as needed, with a lot less resistance on my part.

Congratulations Paula for accomplishing some of your DMP and using your DMP from MKE to help with your other business and planning.
Good job Paula – you are rocking it!
