Things are Shifting

The last couple of weeks I have been really focused on the Law of Substitution in order to cleanse my thought patterns.

As Charles Haanel in The Master Key System taught us in week 10, the universe has infinite abundance and there truly is more than enough for all of us if we can venture beyond our own limiting beliefs and lack mentality and embrace a positive alignment with the natural laws that bring us into harmony with abundant creation.

I adopted this affirmation from Haanel’s teaching and added “health” to impose a subconscious alignment to healing for a family member experiencing illness. I am aligning and integrating this affirmation practice into my family life with tremendous success in multiple ways.

First, I am weaving it into my daily auto-suggestion exercises by:

1. Posting it on the wall at the end of a hallway so there is no excuse of lack of time to read it;

2. Reading it in between each paragraph of my DMP;

3. Recording it 3 times between each paragraph of my DMP and listening to it while I go to sleep;

4. Reciting it 3 times when a negative thought arises;

5. Reciting it 3 times aloud with family members when negative thoughts or behaviours are voiced or noticed;

6. Getting the whole family to recite it aloud when there is conflict.

    This last one is especially effective as I playfully chide them to repeat it enthusiastically, at first with resistance, then weak compliance, then pseudo-enthusiasm, until finally and inevitably everyone is laughing and the conflict forgotten.

    It is honestly pure magic with my kids!

    What I really love about this, is that I am finding that my power of observation and subsequently, my positive mental attitude, has shifted since the onset of this new practice.

    I now realize that no matter what the smart goals and achievements I choose to focus on in my current DMP are, the purposeful habit of doing the work to master my thoughts and consciously program my subby remain at the forefront of my life’s purpose in harmonious concert with whatever my current burning desire may be.

    This serves to fortify my faith that through daily improvement the autonomy and liberty I seek will manifest, as well as any burning desire and smart goal that I imagine.

  1. Excellent, Jonathan. I really like how you have used MKE and the statement of “I am whole, perfect, powerful, loving, harmonious, healthy and happy” into your daily life. Especially how you have incorporated it into the life of your family as a way to deal with conflict. What a great way to change people’s thoughts and, therefore, change their reality. WoW what a genius adaptation for a higher purpose.
