Letting Go of Negative Thoughts

Law of Relaxation

Mental Effort is self-defeating as a means toward Mental Progress.

Activity without silence produces fatigue and apathy. Silence and reflection on a daily basis allow access to our channel to the Divine. When our own thoughts are quieted we become aware of the Divine direction. Interruption from routine and busy-ness gives opportunity for focus. Relaxation of the body and a peaceful state of mind, free of distraction, allows alignment with the purpose we seek to fulfill.

In Master Key (MK) Lessons 3 we learn about letting go physically, followed in MK Lesson 4 by developing mental freedom. We first practiced relaxing physically, then moved on to letting go mentally of all negative thoughts.

We must choose to do this as the gatekeeper of our subconscious mind. By determination and will we refuse to allow the negative thoughts to rule.

Mental freedom begins in the Sit, and continues on into daily routine with the Mental Diet. For seven days, the Gatekeeper watches over the mind and at the first sign of a negative thought, a positive or distracting thought is deployed to reverse course back to positivity. Negative thoughts must not be permitted to grow into negative conditions.

We must learn to be guided by our intellect instead of our emotions. When we construct our DMP statement we choose the emotions that fuel our progress. We become aware that our old Blueprint habits have persistence that are replaceable.

Thoughts only have power over us as emotions are attached to them, but we have the choice of altering the emotions which then render them powerless.

Meet Janet Kraft

  • The ‘sit’ is the place that we practice the relaxation of mental thought.
Amazing things can happen in our sit. From great inventions to the release of tension and beyond all start there.
Thank you for the reminder Janet.
