Breaking Through The Resistance

This week, I gained a deeper awareness of how years of conditioning around avoidance and procrastination have shaped my habits. At the root of this behavior lies a fear of being judged as less competent or accomplished than I “should” be.

This fear has often led me to hold back, waiting for the perfect idea or the most workable solution instead of taking action, learning from experience, and trying again.

Recently, I noticed the impact of this conditioning on my service commitments. I had fallen behind in completing the tasks I committed to. Yes they could have been chunked down to smaller sub-tasks, but they all needed to be done.

I told myself or more likely subby told me, not to add any new services until I had finished the one I had already written. This decision led to a two-week lapse where no new services were added to my service card.

Not surprisingly, this stagnation extended to my Definite Major Purpose (DMP), where tasks were left undone as well.

Knowledge cannot act on itself. I realized that I need to cultivate more courage to act and have faith that consistent action will lead to the right outcomes. I know that becoming more organized will bring greater definiteness and consistency to my actions, enabling better follow-up and follow-through.

As a first step, I chose “well-organized” from the BF list, as my initial virtue to work on. Acting on this decision immediately freed up significant mental space and alleviated much of the anguish caused by misplaced/misfiled items in my home office.

Moving forward, I am committed to intensifying my efforts to follow the blueprint of the Master Key Experience program. I feel strongly that the very tasks I am resisting hold the key to my breakthrough to unlocking my six-figure income and transforming my life entirely.

  • Andrea so true about acting on the knowledge! That’s the hardest thing I deal with , I keep getting knowledge but I don’t use it by acting on it. Glad to see your working on that great job. Keep it up!
