Focus on Virtues
So far, keeping the focus on the basics, I have learned, has been a great foundation. But there is no time to march in place. This week we added a new focus on virtues. Taking a deep dive into one each week for the next 13 weeks. This is how I can concentrate on improving these disciplines and becoming who I am meant to be.
We are constantly moving and creating as we go. It would be easier to just focus on my strengths because they come easily but that keeps me out of balance.
If I am nature’s greatest miracle then I need to embrace all of the parts of me. I am perfectly made with unique gifts and abilities that no one else can bring forth like I can. I have the imagination to think beyond the ordinary and the persistence to complete the task.
I choose to greet each day with love in my heart for those around me and give from the abundance of myself and the treasures that I possess within.
I am leaning more and more into being a life observer without judgement. It is freeing to not be swayed by emotions that no longer serve a good purpose. I’m stepping out of the matrix and it feels so liberating.
I like how you say, “I am stepping out of the matrix and it feels so liberating.” Great observation Donna!
Donna, this is such a beautiful reflection… it’s amazing to see how you’re embracing growth in all its complexity! Taking on the virtues and focusing on balance shows how committed you are to becoming your fullest self. I love how you’re leaning into being a life observer and stepping out of the matrix… that’s such a powerful shift. You’re on an incredible path, and it’s inspiring to witness your journey!
