Working on my DMP (Definite Major Purpose) week after week started to feel like an endless cycle of frustration and stress. No matter how much effort I put in, the task of rewriting it so a six-year-old could understand seemed more and more overwhelming.

There were times when I questioned if I was even on the right track, and the thought of just giving up crossed my mind more than once. The uncertainty and self-doubt were heavy, and it felt tempting to throw in the towel.

But deep down, I knew quitting wouldn’t make the stress go away. It would only leave me with that nagging sense of unfinished business and regret.

The truth is, every big achievement comes with its share of struggles. Whether it’s a major project, a personal goal, or a dream, the journey is rarely straightforward. The frustration I was feeling was a sign that I was pushing myself beyond my comfort zone.

Instead of letting the stress consume me, I decided to shift my mindset and focus on one thing: believing in myself. I reminded myself why I started this journey in the first place — to grow, learn, and achieve something meaningful.

With this renewed perspective, I was able to step back, break things down into smaller steps, and celebrate the little wins along the way.

What I’ve come to realize is that perseverance is everything. Obstacles will always pop up, and success rarely comes easily. But the moments of struggle are often the most rewarding part of the process.

It’s through pushing past those hardest moments that we build strength and resilience. So, I’m not just working toward completing my DMP; I’m also growing as a person.

In the end, success isn’t just about finishing the project — it’s about the growth that happens through the challenges and realizing that I’m capable of far more than I ever thought.

Believing in myself and continuing to move forward is the key to overcoming any obstacle.
