To say participating in the Master Key Experience has gotten easier would be just plain incorrect. One would think after having gone through it it that it would be easier and in some ways that is true but the amount of participation to complete and really participate is still a bit overwhelming.
Having a new (salary) job doesn’t help with the extra time and taking the extra time to make sure everyone is participating is certainly adding to the complicated. This week we started no opinions and to be honest it has slipped my mind. I put on a rubber bracelet to remind me of this. Small yet effective reminder to have something new and if I do catch that I gave an opinion I can change it over to the other wrist. A sort of mental point tracker.
I have noticed quite a few synchronicities happening which to me is confirmation I am on the right “path” or doing the right things. The church I now work at had an exit letter written by the pastor as a resigning why the decision to leave. Being curious I inquired about that during his current Wednesday nights class on the History of the Methodist Church this one line stuck out to me as anyone reading scroll 1 from Og Mandino would:
“As a whole, the United Methodist Church is becoming more and more antagonistic towards those holding to the classic Christian faith that has been handed down from generation to generation for the past two thousand years.“
Og Mandino’s sroll one says precisely the same wording “Today I will pluck grapes of wisdom from the tallest and fullest vines in the vineyard, for these were planted by the wisest of my profession who have come before me, generation upon generation.”
In the course it was mentioned that Mark also has Philippians 4:13 around his home. Well I did look it up and sure enough I recognized it. A day later I also saw it written on the white board in the back hallway behind the main sanctuary on a white board.
I have noticed at least one thing a week as Davene says “in perfect harmony” and it is simply amazing to see these occurances knowing exactly that this is what is going on and how these little synchronicities are just a confirmation of that.
Pressing on and moving forward… without even thinking about it I just typed the pastor’s sermon title for the week “Pressing on” in my blog but that is exactly what I am doing. I am behind a little bit in some areas and we had some issues with taking care of the PIF (pay-it-forward) but I am in contact with Davene to get it sorted out. When dealing with technology everything doesn’t always go as smoothly as you think it should and this has been the case getting 5 PIF’s paid for the whole family. On the plus side my youngest son got his DMP back now so we are finally all rocking the MKE as we should be.
Pressing on and moving forward!
I love to see those synchronicities also! Good work, Richard:)
