Another great week of learning, I have to say week 4’s webinar with the science was fascinating! Mind-blowing stuff!
Many things have interested me this week but one sentence in the Master key book will stick with me forever.
If you do not intend to do a thing, do not start, if you do start, see it through even if the heavens fall. If you make up your mind to do something, do it, let nothing, no one interfere. The ‘I’ in you has determined, the thing is settled, the die is cast, there is no longer any argument. Charles Haanel
With this sentence I now grasp the importance of developing a strong unbreakable Will. I read it and realised that the last few weeks, anything that I put on my index card was done, there was no negotiating, no procrastination, it was settled that I would carry it out if it was written.
With each small chore/service/readings completed I was strengthening my will. Delivering and keeping my promises to myself no matter what. These small wins felt great! Sometimes in life we are so adamant we would never break a promise to a friend, but break promises to ourselves with ease. I realise now just how detrimental this was to a persons spirit and self esteem.
Reading this chapter of the master keys this week and the Greatest Salesman. I see that all the times in my past that I said I’d do something and didn’t follow through I was gradually weakening my ‘Will’, surrendering it marking out a path that was threatening to imprison my future as Og states in scroll 1. This is so crystal clear to me now, once seen cannot be unseen. I can now never ever go back to where I was.
What I have been doing with the readings and index cards is shedding my old skin and becoming a new man, a man who word is his bond. I now know that anything I write and sign my name to will be accomplished from here on out. Anything less is a betrayal to myself. I always keep my promises. I am forever grateful to the MKE team for this life changing knowledge.
