I sense that time is running away and at the same time not-so subtle resistance showing its head. I had planned to do all MKE duties – this blog, survey and DMP this afternoon. It is now quite late at night and I am only doing it now. It strikes me that resistance is futile – I still have my promises to keep.
I had a bit of fun this week. Triggered by a friend’s pictorial screensaver on his computer, I played with creating my version of my DMP pictorial. I chose to use cartoon pictures from a free image website, copied onto a PowerPoint slide, and the end result is that I feel happy when “feeling” it. I left “subby” to fill in the details though I did add the symbols.
By the end of this week, I will have a copy slipped into my copy of The Greatest Salesman in the World. It is on my screen as a screensaver. Of course, should you choose to do something similar, it doesn’t need to be this modality. The options are various as the people selecting to do it.
It is likely many here created vision boards. I remember doing vision boards of significance for many years with no impact whatsoever in or on my life. I definitely didn’t feel them – that requirement only showed up in my world many years later.
The most important for me, in this version, is the way I feel when experiencing it. And the pleasure when doing it. May it add to your experience. You are welcome.
I felt far freer doing the DMP pictorial than putting “pen to paper” for this blog. I would like to flip a switch and delight in blogging… not in my reality, yet… a choice to be made. I have had a significant resistance to writing since the journaling craze started.
Yayyyyy! I have written 300 words, plus! Cartwheel, cartwheel, cartwheel.
How amazing what you are doing and creating! Incorporating it with the MKE and sharing with us your journey! Bravo!
Time to celebrate with cartwheels! Thanks for sharing how you’re having fun with this adventure known as the MKE!
