Guide:

minutes remaining

This week was a blessing in disguise. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to spend my time on a beautiful, white sandy beach; but I did spend time this week adjusting to decide upon what I want to develop in my life before retirement. The Master Key Part Four was amazing, and what I found to be amazing is the thought of:

“For this reason, we have God and the devil in religion, positive and negative in science, and good and bad in philosophy.”

— Charles Haanel, The Master Key System

Along with my heart’s desire of remaining in a state of singleness versus getting married, this sentence had me rearing. This is because I know the God of the Israelites is real and created everything, and that He has a divine plan for everything–just look at the prophecies in the bible unfolding even as I write.

I find that this course cuts against the grain of my ancestral beliefs. I understand that many people use the words of the bible to mean all kinds of different things to each person. However, what I know now to be true is who the people of the bible are and what the words truly mean and why its understanding is so convoluted.

What I’ve decided to do is not take offense to these digs at the True One God of Israel and comments about my forefather, Joseph, or my Savior, Jesus, as being “a little carpenter from Galilee.”

I have to dismiss these thoughts and adjust myself to get to the bare bones understanding of this manuscript which can help me develop discipline in order for me to create my burning desire and purpose in my life. You know, what I want my “dash” to mean (1969 – ).

Before being offered an opportunity to enroll into Master Key Experience, I did have a longing to re-develop purpose which time had beat me from accomplishing — one of my greatest intentions and desires of retiring my mother.

My children had grown up and now have lives, professional careers, and families of their own. So for awhile, like four years, I’ve had to take it slow and find something to have a burning desire about.

So the statement prior to the quote above is…

“Thought is energy and energy is power, and it is because all the religions, sciences, and philosophies with which the world has heretofore been familiar have been based upon the manifestation of this energy instead of the energy itself, that the world has been limited to effects, while causes have been ignored or misunderstood.”

— Charles Haanel, The Master Key System

I understand this to be a profound, and yet powerful statement regarding this energy and how it relates to cause and effect. I don’t relate to the religions, sciences, and philosophies like Haneel writes here, hence why it appeals to me as the reason why cause and effect is missed regarding these three world conditions.

I actually can understand that without giving proper credence to the One True Power, man can misunderstand energy, cause, and effect as such.

So, I close this week in a positive and upbeat state of mind, and I’m looking forward to what Master Key Experience Week 5 will bring in order to gain discipline.

I always keep my promises. Kamayah Israel

The willingness to get to the core truth of ‘all that is’, incorporating your own understanding and discipline is powerful and positive.

  • What an interesting way to incorporate the Law of Substitution. We really can choose how we think or feel about any given thing. Thanks for sharing how you chose to be open and positive about someone’s words instead of closed and negative. It’s a great example, Kamayah!
