Creating a Better World
Reading Chapter 14 of the Master Key System this week things are really starting to sink in now. The difference between subby and the universal is one of degree.
They differ only as a drop of water differs from the ocean. Charles Haanel
This building of a positive mental attitude, the gratitude cards and the inspiring daily reads and sits will only lead to the manifestation of something positive in our lives, the harmony talked about in chapter 14.
We must learn to maintain this harmony though with right thinking and externally considering others who offend us, seeing deeper into our troubles for opportunity for growth. See things from others point of view is so important, seeing their difficulties and exercising compassion and forgiveness, therefore neutralising conflict. We must always be watchful to stay in our center.
Thought is creative so we are creators of our own destiny, we can use the creative power of thought to create harmony or chaos. This is a big responsibility as when we turn negative we add to the worlds problems.
It makes total sense now that the chaos in the world is the result of wrong thinking on a mass scale, the majority of the world are ignorant of laws such as the law of growth, cause and effect and we as a species are paying the price.
Most feel powerless and not in control of their lives, couple this with constant negativity from the disgraceful mass media and its no wonder that the average person has 70,000 mostly negative thoughts a day, multiple this by 8 billion and ask what sort of world are we collectively building. The law of cause and effect is at work.
Everything happens according to Law; that nothing ever “merely happens”; that there is no such thing as Chance; that while there are various planes of Cause and Effect, the higher dominating the lower planes, still nothing ever entirely escapes the Law. ― Three Initiates, The Kybalion: A Study of the Hermetic Philosophy of Ancient Egypt and Greece
This is why the work the Master Key Experience (MKE) team are doing is so important, reach enough people and give them knowledge of the laws of the mind teaching them how to take charge of their thinking and cultivate a positive mental attitude and they will pass this on in many ways and things begin to change in the world for the better.
I’ve always heard that as little as a 100,000 conscious people can change the fate of the world, I truly believe this.
Jung was fond of making an analogy between the formation of symbols in the unconscious and the solidification of crystals in a saturated solution. For example if we dissolve sugar in a solution of water, the solution will eventually reach a saturation point. If a single grain of sugar is then added to the solution, a crystalline structure will spontaneously appear in the solution.
Any moment of self reflection could be the very grain of sugar, so to speak, that initiates this process. This is true not only individually, but collectively as a species as well.
Any one of us recognising the dream like nature of our situation, owning our shadow, doing our inner and outer work, and waking up to our true nature might be the very act, the very grain of sugar that initiates a change in the universe. Maybe this moment is the moment. Paul Levy Dispelling Wetiko.
This is why we must master our mental and emotional landscapes. Too easily can our positive mood be turned negative by a misspoken word by another, we project, we take offence far too easily. This is called in the Gurdjieff work ‘Internal considering’.
Dwelling thinking of how we were wronged or longing for external things to be different than they are leading to bitterness and resentment, self pity. On an individual level this leads to disharmony, on a collective level this leads the wars we see today.
If we are truly creators then we must rise above this and be masters of our moods and work on never allowing externals be they other people or situations to take us out of our harmonious center. Keep our internal environment harmonious and the external will eventually reflect this.
As within, so without, as above, so below, as the universe, so the soul. The Kybalion.
If the above quote is true cultivating harmony and daily gratitude letting go of our petty resentments is key, the fate of the world depends on each of us as individuals doing this work.

that’s amazing peaches, had heard of this happening before, brilliant.
thanks so much Janet! that’s brilliant.
100% caitriona !
This is absolutely what the world needs Tommy. If only the “powers that be” could use their collective for good. If only those that are supresed could learn to be a collective and rise. The power of the collective is so powerful. Harmonious peaceful minds, individual and collective, one of my greatest desires.
Brilliant take on what we’ve been developing these last weeks.
Excellent blog Tommy.
Absolutely spot on and that’s why MKE advocates for the 7 Day Mental Diet and the 7 Laws of the Mind.
If only 8 billion people could be introduced to this practice!!
I worked for a period of time at the Maharishi University in Fairfield, Iowa and they have about 2-4 thousand people meditating for 2 hours morning and evening. It certainly has proven to make a difference there and wherever in the world they hold those meditation sessions.
