Let’s See What Happens

During the holidays, I was going to be more conscious my thoughts, opinions, staying in the present, bring something to everyone I meet, sending blessings and love to all I meet and see how the environments respond.

I started at the meetup group and holiday party after. The meeting went very well and the party after was a success. Everyone that attended had a great time and the group wants to have it again next year.

I next went to the senior center clay room to work on a project. I met many people some I knew and many I did not. I sent blessings, love to all, and gave each a smile and a greeting. I was overwhelmed with the interest in what I was doing.

Of course I thanked them for the compliments and I in turn always take interest in what others are making and of course complimenting them on their work. The new people acted as if they had known me for a long time. The whole room seemed to come alive.

It is always trying when I am cooking for my husband (he usually makes his own food). I was cooking Christmas dinner. I sent love and blessing to him at the start of the day. He was pleasant to be around that day.

He actually said the meal was very good and the cookies I made where his favorite. He offered to watch whatever movie I wanted on the television that day, which he never does. Boy, did I say thank you to both.

I have gotten good at redirecting negative thoughts and no opinions helps me to be the observer more easily and staying in the present. All in all the week went well everywhere I was! I really like this new way of being!

  • I absolutely loved your Blog! I too was involved with senior activities in my neighborhood, my husband usually does dinner, and I too was thrilled that over the holidays he agreed to watch whatever I wanted on T.V. he ususally controls it and it’s sports! Yeah!
