The Experience I Never Had (Thank Heavens)
My husband and daughter flew to Utah for the funeral of his brother-in-law. They were gone the weekend before New Years. I DO NOT like to fly! Every time I fly they suck the air from around my seat. It is just terrible.
According to both of them, the flight there was horrific. The plane was all over the place. Turbulence was the worst either of them have ever been in. They were both looking for the barf bags, just in case. They were hot and seemed to be without air.
Of course they were thinking of me. Mom would have been more than beside herself and would have used the barf bags. My husband said it was the best thing for me not to be on that plane.
His thinking is that if I had been, there would have never been a chance that I would have ever flown again. He is probably right.
Yet they both looked on the bright side of that flight. It was the best and smoothest landing they have ever experienced. The flight back was uninteresting to say the least. I am grateful I never had this experience.
