I have been thinking today whilst taking a walk of how fortunate I am to have come across the Master Key Experience (MKE). I am so grateful, sometimes in life we can find ourselves drifting, waiting for something to happen, feeling like a passenger in life.
These exercises, this information is a solid foundation and put us in front of the steering wheel again. Its clear to me I am working with principles that endure as Og states. No quick fix nonsense with a foundation of sand, but strong clear principles rooted in science, but more importantly rooted in love and service.
Always will I dig for reasons to applaud; never will I scratch for excuses to gossip. OG Madino
These principles and exercises have a solid foundation and bring stability and clarity of vision, what I like is that they also again are rooted in positivity, not the false positivity that closes its eyes to the bad. But the positivity that enables us not let the bad stop us from seeing truth and good.
Optimism actually good for your health. I have read that Strong pessimists are ten times more likely to be diagnosed with a major illness before 50, pessimists could be 50 times more prone to depression, even in sales strong optimists outsell the pessimists by 137%. Whether this is true or not, I do not know but it certainly makes sense.
Your attitude directly affects your mental health, your physical health and your financial wellbeing. The cycle of Mind. Alan Gordon
The erroneous, the bad and the ugly must not prevent the soul from finding the true, the good and the beautiful wherever they are present. Rudolf Steiner
The man that thinks he can and the man who thinks he can’t are both right. Confucious
The story of Jesus passing the corpse of a dead dog whom the disciples where disgusted by said “Praise to God, what beautiful teeth this creature has.” Comes to mind.
Mark’s hilarious story of torturing his friend on a car journey by pointing out all the “Great Drivers” on the road is another example of living in a more joyful, enthusiastic positive state.
I’ve been reading Emerson’s essay on compensation this week and am very grateful that I have been gifted these life affirming principles, and will make it my business to pay it forward and help others as I have been helped. I looking forward to learn more in the coming weeks.
The law of substitution! hadn’t thought of that!, really all links! thanks Janet!
Thank you peaches!
The law of substitution comes to mind, that is, substituting optimism for pessimism. I like it! Congratulations on your aha moments this week.
