Is White A Color?
I was excited to attend the Color Code training this week. I had been introduced to it several years ago but had never taken the time to do the assessment and learn about the system.
Self-evaluation has never been easy for me. So, learning what motivates each color type and how to communicate more effectively with each type was very helpful starting with myself.
Self-evaluation has never been easy for me. I was a bit shocked to see how much white I had. Battling indecisiveness my whole life I thought was primarily due to my family dynamic growing up and I would outgrow it.
Now I see that it was always within me but made more pronounced because of my environment. No wonder chipping off the old cement and asking myself what I really want continues to be challenging.
The other surprise for me was being on the introverted side of the chart. I am always talking to strangers in stores and enjoy socializing in groups. I will have to think some more about this and ask others who know me well what they observe.
It was fun to have my husband take the assessment even though I knew he was going to be blue by doing some quick-coding. We communicate fairly well but I am looking forward to learning more about the finer points of being blue.
Learning about each Color Code type, what motivates them and how they are best communicated with is going to be a game changer in personal and business relationships. Guess I will need to review my DMP and see if the language I’m using is really what I need to motivate me.

Oh I like that, using your “colour language ” in your DMP
Great job with the self-evaluation! It’s powerful to know that every colour has strengths. Good idea to use that language in your DMP:)
