How do you know that you have made the right decision to do something? I do not think it is always with lots of positive confirmations, everything lining up perfectly, and having a warm fuzzy feeling inside. The comfort and security in the life I crafted were going to be disrupted. Knowing that I will experience discomfort and be challenged to look at patterns in my life that have led me to this place is humbling and a bit scary.
Doing something new is not without some growing pains, but being able to finally come to know my true passion and purpose has become a driving force in deciding to take the Master Key Experience. However, it comes with lots of resistance from my old self and the behavior patterns that I am breaking.
Being a visual learner, I was so intrigued by the video about the cement man. So much of our potential is encased in a facade of our own making through our unique life experiences. The hidden script that plays in the background of my life is now being exposed and rewired.
The gold statue underneath is the unique treasure that I am, my full potential, exposed and recognized. None of us need to measure ourselves against others, we are all here to become the best versions of ourselves. I can’t wait to meet my future self, she is so full of potential.
One of the small confirmations I have gotten so far was the example from the reading about the olive tree or the onion plant. In the past, I have used the analogy that God made the oak tree and the squash. It takes 60 years to grow an oak tree and only six months to grow a squash.
I have just levelled up to the olive tree. Which would you rather be?
Olive Trees are simply Beautiful, Donna. Keep Growing!
Your reflections on decision-making and personal growth are both insightful and relatable. It’s true that the journey to discovering your true passion and purpose can feel uncomfortable and daunting, especially as you confront old patterns and resistances. The metaphor of the cement man beautifully illustrates how many of us encase our potential, but recognizing that gold statue within you is a significant step toward liberation and self-discovery.
I love how you draw parallels between your growth and the olive tree versus the squash—it’s a powerful reminder that lasting change takes time and patience. Your journey to becoming your best self is uniquely yours, and it’s inspiring to see how you’re embracing this transformative process. I, too, can’t wait for you to meet your future self, filled with potential and authenticity. Keep nurturing that inner strength; you’re on the right path!
They sure do!
Fantastic post Donna. Excited to see you become the best version of yourself.
Great post, Donna. I’m certainly aspiring to be more olive tree! Onions only make you cry, right??
