Hi there, my name is Sean Thomas from Simons Town South Africa. I grew up moving all over South Africa witch meant that I’ve been in 18 schools in different provinces in SA. That led to me meeting lots of people and also having to adapt to different environments because no two places are the same.

That also meant that to be able to survive I always had to blend in with the people and my environment to survive. Trust me they laid down the cement layers on me like there’s no tomorrow, I think that my poor Buda looks like a cement truck lost its load on him… I never had the opportunity to settle down and just be myself.

Even till today I can’t say that I’ve got a best friend that I can trust, yes I know a lot of people and that’s that. So what I’m trying to say is that I don’t know who I am, all my life I had to be someone else just to fit in and be accepted by the people around me.

That’s what brought me to the MKE experience, this is the first course that actually got me thinking that here is the golden opportunity to find myself and the true purpose of me still being alive and of my life?
