As if I didn’t have enough on my plate already my wife decided it would be a great idea to register the whole family for the MKE. How can I argue with such a great idea? While the cost for a family of 5 was no cheap undertaking knowing the value of what this course offers and the desire to share it with our family it was a no brainer.
I just accepted a position as the Director of Media and Communications at a church just 10 minuted from our home. While the pay is less than I am used to it is a job close to home that I can do, actually enjoy, and help bring in much needed stable income to our family.
While I still work in December as a professional Santa and have been self-employed since our big move to Texas from California I have been building a business as well as doing deliveries and driving for Ride-Share. The income from deliveries is not always consistent and to really do ride share I have to drive over an hour one way to be in a big enough area.
So this new job was a welcomed steady reliable income that will still allow for me to be Santa in December. I also get to do what I have always enjoyed being in charge of their media (Sunday service) including streaming the service, website, social media, website, creation of digital media etc. I started Oct 1 2024 and already have created images for their digital sign for all drive by traffic to see.
We had a funeral yesterday (a humbling service I now get to play a role in providing and a little reminder of past lessons from MKE) we were asked if we were able to record the funeral for one of the family members and I was able to adjust the streaming computer to do just that.
Learning that the camera was not really used I will be setting up some pre set positions so that we can make future streaming pan in and out to different views instead of just one unchanging shot.
Over all this has been a good week. I am still working on building a new ride-share service where customers pay less, drivers earn more and for every ride rewards are given. A new community owned ride-share company built on a block-chain and no stock holders. I helped launch their service in Houston and am as excited as ever to continue growing that stream of residual income as well.
The church has a pumpkin patch that will have activities happening every weekend and with Christmas just around the corner I have a lot of things going on. I also am taking a class learning coding (computer programming) and so will be dedicating time to that regularly as well.
All this reasons above I realized just how crazy I am to say yes to taking on the Amazingly challenging task of going through the Master Keys one more time but it just makes sense. I know how much it will help me grow in all areas of my life and what better lesson can be taught to our children.
While I am still getting my brain into accepting the challenge I am plowing ahead strong completing the tasks of Week 1 and looking forward to being a part of the course for the 2024-2025 year.

Hey, Richard! Thank You for this very informative post! I used to just outside of where you do, so I totally get the building in rural areas. Sounds like you lead one busy joy filled life! Keep On Growing!
