Be The Person You Want To Become
I’m glad we got to rewrite lesson 17 this week, section 11 summarized everything I did to concentrate on, everything else is a distraction.
Concentration does not mean mere thinking of thoughts, but the transmutation of these thoughts into practical values; the average person has no conception of the meaning of concentration. There is always the cry ‘to have’ but never the cry ‘to be’; they fail to understand that they cannot have one without the other, that they must first find the ‘kingdom’ before they can have the ‘things added.’ Momentary enthusiasm is of no value; it is only with unbounded self-confidence that the goal is reached. Charles Haanel
This paragraph encapsulates everything. It’s not about simply thinking positively or wishing for success; it’s about “becoming” the person who naturally attracts it. The mistake many people make is focusing on what they want to have instead of who they need to become. The shift from “having” to “being” is what truly changes everything.
They chase results without embodying the mindset that creates those results. They rely on bursts of enthusiasm instead of grounded self-confidence.
And the truth is, momentary motivation fades, but a true shift in identity lasts. You don’t just think your way to success, you “become” the person who makes success inevitable.
Focus less on what you want to “get” and more on who you need to “become.”
Build the internal foundation first, and the rest will follow.
Ahren, This is so true!!! Really focusing on the end goal or our greater self. Beautiful
I agree Ahren—true success comes not from chasing results but from embodying the mindset that naturally attracts them.
Well said, Ahren!
