Decisiveness
I decided to work on the word decisiveness this week. My daughter decided to send a text for me that was extremely scary to me. We laughed until our cheeks hurt with anxiety.
It should not be so scary to me because it is my sister., but I don’t talk to her that often. I would like to make my relationship with her better one day.
I decide to buy things all the time. That is probably where I shine with decisiveness when I decide to buy.
I decided to buy party decorations and favors for my daughter’s 16th birthday party. She will be turning 16 in March. I decided to have a party for her. I am excited and a little nervous for her to be 16 because she is almost an adult.

Alasia, I love that you’re leaning into decisiveness, especially as an introvert. I totally get how something as simple as a text can feel overwhelming. It’s amazing how much emotion can come up in those moments, but the fact that you followed through with some laughter along the way is a win. Your excitement for your daughter’s birthday shines through, and it’s beautiful that you’re making intentional choices to celebrate her.
