What week is this? They’re all running together

Interesting that the survey asked about having permission to be happy. I don’t need to give myself permission (or allow anyone else to have that power) to be happy, I just do it instinctively. I see how it helps others.

Then the 5 things …

1. 3 gratitudes a day [written] Nope – but I voiced more than 3 every single day.

2. Kindness awareness, noticing kindness daily – I have always done this

3. The “sit” [you’ve been doing this all along since Oct] – this I need to work on. It is nice, but I struggle with the old blueprint still when it comes to this.

4. Exercise of some kind, even a few minutes a day – Yep. Even if it’s just going up and down the stairs 5 times.

5. “Reliving” a nice moment in the last 24 hours and writing a sentence or two about it – Watching our Buy Nothing group immediately step up when asked to help a young single mom who just got into an apartment. She now has beds, dining furniture, dishes, pots & pans, towels … everything she needed.

Master Key Experience (MKE) doesn’t make me feel happier. I am a happy person already.

Learning Faster? nah.

Retaining more? probably.

Seeing more happiness? no. I am seeing more kindness, though.

I believe that giving kindness fills my own happy-meter.

Has MKE helped, yes. Is it the reason that I am happy? No. Has it helped me reach my goals? Yes, I believe it has.

I give love, support, kindness, and laughter – and always have. This … THIS is the reason I am happy.

I have stuck with the program because I would not abandon my friend. Has it helped me? Absolutely. The time needed was a surprise and I had to abandon something else to make room for it. But honestly, watching my friend blossom has been worth the time and more.

This past month I have not done a lot, because I was making my DMP come to fruition. I was helping my friend bring hers to fruition also, and THAT was much more important to me than anything else.

I was also much more intentional in how my time was spent. Building people up. Getting my darling, talented, intelligent friend to Florida where she needed to be and be able to meet the people she needed to meet.

My partner and I Launched our Podcast and Book, and all the hours and hours of time needed to complete those consumed my time. My DMP now has to be re-written, because half has been met.
