MKE Week 17 – Concentrations
All my life I’ve been struggling with what I thought was Focus. After reading the Master Key, Part Seventeen Lesson of The Master Key Experience (MKE) and principles of Charles Haanel’s The Master Key System and examples by Mark J, The Fabulous Davine, And Lori, and the team.
I realize that this is much deeper and slightly yet distinctly similar matter as concentration. I further verified this by looking up the meaning of each word. AI overview: Focus is the ability to direct attention to a task, object or goal. It can also be used to describe whether they are attentive or distracted.
While concentration refers to the ability to maintain that focus for an extended period of time. Then they give tips, these tips are in the outlines, literature and exercises given to me in the Master Key experience.
I am so grateful to have been invited by a friend to participate in a collective group of people wanting to up lift and share these very truths that somehow got lost over time. In the un-natural and ever evolving world of technology and AI. Then (MKE) Part Seventeen Questions and Answers 1).
What is the true method of concentration? To become so identified with the object of your thought that you are conscious of nothing else. Charles Haanel
There are nine other eye opening questions and answers which open the truths to my mind that I want to tap within to the inherent instincts and gifts at birth, provided me by my creator who I recognize as God, the one true king.
In The Greatest Salesman in the World by Og Mandino, he writes:
I am nature’s greatest miracle. I am not on this earth by chance. I am here for a purpose and that purpose is to grow into a mountain, not to shrink to a grain of sand. Henceforth I apply all my efforts to become the highest mountain of all and I will strain my potential until it cries for mercy. Og Mandino
Years ago I attended an Emmaus Retreat (is a Catholic retreat program that helps people deepen their relationship with Jesus. The retreats are based on the Gospel of Luke 24:13-35, which tells the story of Jesus appearing to the Disciples of Emmaus.)
What happens at an Emmaus retreat? Participants spend time in prayer and reflection: They listen to the word of God and stories of others: They build friendships with other people who share their faith: They learn how to apply their faith to their daily lives.
Who can attend an Emmaus retreat? Anyone who wants to grow in their relationship with Jesus: Men who want to be ministered to by other men:Women who want to find comfort and joy in God’s love.
Now why would I go into all this lengthy writing and description of my journey, how does this tie into Focus and Concentration? My answer, Meditation, (prayer is a form of meditation, sitting quietly with one main thought) and learning this exercise that practice makes perfect , is helping me learn focus and concentration.
As a general rule looking back on my most meaningful moments in my life I was very concentrated and Focused. My life through these practices is more enjoyable and meaningful.I am experiencing the benefit of understanding myself and my mind, ultimately allowing me to pursue activities of value to me more effectively.
Both quotes you emphasized are favorites of mine for this month. Amazing to see the two of us on the same wavelength!
I’m enjoying watching you grow into a mountain Elena and following your purpose.
