I’m the Gal In The Glass

Reading the poem is helpful …

The word pelf is distracting to me. Usually I like finding a new word, but this one … ??

The hurrier I go, the behinder I get. Yet I can still look myself in the eye every day. Although when so much is piled on it begins to chip away at my confidence. Reminds me of a teacher that delighted in giving so much work that only 1 or 2 students were able to finish, and the rest were berated. Hopefully that’s not the case here.

I’ll keep plugging away and I am seeing results. It’s disappointing to have that “I’m delighting a sadistic teacher” feeling.

I’ll probably replace the word pelf …
