This week, in chapter 6, in #4, Haanel states: “Thought is mind in motion.”
I am having so much fun watching Chapter 3, #27 says, “The finite cannot inform the infinite. You are to say what you desire, NOT how you obtain it.” I have spent so much time figuring out all the details before I start something; I never start.
In chapter 6, Haanel states: “Thought is mind in motion.” (4). The Brain is an embryonic world (11). Thought sets the brain cells into action (15), which affects our nervous system, spinal cord, blood supply, and every cell in our bodies (12, 13). In (19), he states, “Attention or Concentration is the MOST critical essential in mind development.
I love learning, digesting, and processing these principles. Haanel is a thinker and leader who will teach us how to think for ourselves. My exciting twist is putting these principles into practical action like I did this week.
Here is my story. I want to remove my big wood bed frame from my bedroom and rearrange things. In the past, it’s been a fleeting thought and too overwhelming.
In September, I took the 2-day vision workshop with Mark. Towards the end of that workshop, Mark had us put 30 to 60 things you would like to have happened on index cards. The re-doing of my room came out on an index card. I dated the project completion on 12/31/24. I set the card down and have not taken any action.
Magic happened after the webinar on Sunday. I began thinking, “The finite cannot inform the infinite. “I am simply to say what I desire, NOT how I am to obtain it.” I started thinking realistically of all the steps that needed to happen. The biggest obstacle for me was taking the frame out.
I called my handyman, and surprisingly, he said he could come over the next day. Awesome! Monday was my only “open” day to work non-stop!
Here is the list of all the things that needed to happen:
1. Bed frame out
2. Take the mattress/boxspring out (my LR became my bedroom)
3. Wallpaper scraped off the back wall
4. Paint the edges
5. Roll the body of the walls
6. Move the bookshelf
7. Move the dresser
8. Move the mattress/boxspring back into the bedroom
9. Order the bedframe
10. Assemble and put it together
I started Monday @9:30 am. The exciting part of the story is how my schedule kept opening up. I did not need to babysit my granddaughter on Tuesday. More time to paint! Help was here when I needed to move the dresser.
Wednesday, Heidi canceled the Lady’s Breakfast. Another block of time appeared! Things just kept falling into place. It is 1:00 pm Thursday, and tasks 1-8 are done!!!!
The infinite keeps meeting me in so many little ways. If I can use my “Focused energy “to seamlessly complete this project, what else should I create for myself or the people around me?
