This focus on kindness week was especially meaningful as it looked at the random acts of kindness that each one of us could do or see in others.

I have been reminded that everyone needs a little extra love from time to time. Simple things as just opening the door or even giving someone an extra compliment or a smile goes a long way to help brighten their day.

The encouraging words that we give someone just might be what they need to make it through the day. You never know what they have experienced prior to meeting you. Your kindness can be infectious… I hope everyone catches it.

There is an old saying that you have to walk in my moccasins to know what I’ve experienced. Just because someone may appear on the outside to have it all together, they may be falling apart on the inside.

Your smile or your kind word or deed can go a long way to help them feel better.
