Kindness is Everywhere

This week, the value our class was looking for was kindness. To search to see kind acts performed by other. To do them ourselves. And to do them without anyone knowing that you did something kind.

Somehow over the years, I think I had become jaded to the idea of kindness. And was not actively looking for or observing the kindnesses around me. I am delighted that while my week started slowly, day after day, I saw more and more kindnesses and I wanted to be kind and others were kind to me as well.

This has been a beautiful experiment that I want to continue going forward. To search out and identify kindness in others, draws me toward kindness and that is a value that I really do want more of in my life.

To all of you that were kind to me this week. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I will make it a service to carry this forward with me.
