Kindness

Last week, my blog post was about organization – and paying attention to organization did help me throughout the week feel that I had become more organized.

Today, my post is about kindness and about the power of collective will. I know not why it is so motivating to feel as though you are taking action aligned with so many others, all in sync and at the same time.

It can’t be for the credit: although we’re all participating in this mastermind simultaneously, one of us are really receiving immense amounts of social credit for it. It’s not for the reciprocity – merely noting kindness is different than performing it (although we’re doing that too).

I think it must be for the belief. If we believe what we are doing matters – truly matters – we feel free, we feel loved, we feel inspired. As I think of the thousands of people around the world focusing on kindness, the knot in my stomach lessons.

My partner doesn’t even know I’m doing this. It’s truly just for myself. But knowing these other people are also doing it has transformed my world.

It is a lovely, beautiful mystery.

  • I think it is beautiful that we are all striving to be the same virtue this week. All of us, spreading Kindness. I am so happy you are doing that for yourself.

  • Altruism is a great gesture to the ‘one’.
If we all practised altruism, as we see in this ‘kindness’ exercise, it really does show how it can affect all of us in the ‘one’ mind, one heart, one being.
May all of our knots in the stomach be lessened and dissolved the more we are in harmony with each other.
