I will Persist and Succeed

Scroll 3 summarizes very well what I have been going through the past couple of weeks. The old blueprint is wanting to make me give up and give in to the notion that nothing is going to change and I’m too old and why change now!

Inside I am in turmoil, one moment mad, then sad to the point of depression; everything you can think of is happening all at once.

The fact that this is happening is showing me just as in scroll 3, it isn’t for me to know how many steps it will take. Success isn’t at the beginning but at the end.

I must persist and keep at it even when I don’t feel like it. If I keep persistent, I will win! Haanel said that this is hard mental labor and very few are willing to push through and do the work. Most people will not make this type of change. It is just too difficult.

But for things to change I (we) must change, and it must begin with our thoughts. We must be the guardsmen at the gate and keep out negativity and keep feeding on the positive and focus our eye on the goal, our DMP. Keep consistent with the exercises even when you don’t want to do it. Just Do it!

I have been unemployed for some time now, though I am working on my own business in coaching. This is a great experience to relate when I am coaching someone on success and what they want.

I have also had 5 great interviews so I can keep a steady paycheck while I build up, but all 5 turned out to say thank you for your time, but we have gone with other candidates. All 5 of them.

I have so much to give a company and have the experience and skills. This alone has been heartbreaking, and very disappointing. So, what now? I must keep moving forward, use the law of substitution when depression or negativity comes in and change it for something positive.

The mental work is exhausting but worth it. I am excited to see what happens as I persist and keep moving forward? According to Og Mandino in The Greatest Salesman in the World, I will win!
