The Power of a Guide
This program, or maybe I should better describe it as an “Experience” has been very enlightening for me. Every week I am learning something new and putting into practice something that helps me to be a bit more self aware.
One idea for me that was not new, however, was the idea of a mastermind group and an accountability partner. I have been part of mastermind groups in the past, and I know that its power lies in collaboration, diverse perspectives, and collective problem-solving.
I have, however, never really considered how important having the right people around you is in such a group. As well as how having an accountability partner from within a cohort like that could be, and how important the right intention within the team and the partner is to help everyone involved.
I see now that it is one thing to be part of a mastermind group and have an accountability partner, showing up and dealing with topics, and there is another thing altogether when we show up with positive energy, a desire to serve others, and a true intention of helping another to realize their goals and aspirations.
Our tribe has an awesome guide (Shirley), and last week Shirley reached out to me and asked if I would consider being an accountability partner with another Master Key Experience (MKE) member in our tribe (mastermind). Well I thought, I actually had a friend in mind, someone I know and trust.
However, I had not yet said anything to him. I was not really considering anyone from my tribe, because… I don’t know, just because I was not sure about the fit… In steps Shirley!
She made a simple comment… it will mean more to you when you are both doing the program. I know she is right, but for her encouragement I would not have done it.
The key benefits of a mastermind:
- Shared Knowledge: Members bring unique expertise, offering valuable insights and strategies.
- Accountability: Group members hold each other accountable for goals and progress.
- Support: Encouragement and motivation from the group help overcome challenges.
- Networking: Builds strong professional relationships and connections.
- Innovation: The diverse ideas and experiences stimulate creative solutions.
Imagine how much more power there is in the above when you add in our new insights from the last few months with an accountability partner that is in tune with what we have been learning.
If a mastermind group is designed to accelerate growth and success by leveraging the collective intelligence of its members… I can’t wait to see where this goes!!

Ken, I’m so very glad linking up with the accountability partner I suggested has worked out so incredibly well for you! We hear it over and over in this Master Key Experience…all in divine timing. I agree with you, too, that past master minds I’ve been part of had been almost ENTIRELY different from how we “do them” here! No wonder we are experiencing such intense growth and well-being here! Cheering you on to what’s greater and deeper…
I can’t wait either – great job Ken!
