Learning about Neurological Associative Reactive Conditioning or as it is referred to during the webinar, NARC, was an eye opener.

It is utilizing the Law of Dual Thought which states “we can attach any feeling to a thought we want.” With the desire to build my precious metals business, many thoughts and emotions arise.

I don’t want to fail but I have to keep in mind that if I don’t think of making a one percent effort towards building it, I will stay where I am. Overcoming the obvious fear of failing is embracing NARC.

Based on what was taught, associating, not building, should feel bad and building should feel good. As Og Mandino teaches in the book The Greatest Salesman in the World,

“Failure I may still encounter at the thousandth step, yet success hides behind the next bend in the road. Never will I know how close it lies unless I turn the corner.”

— Og Mandin,o The Greatest Salesman in the World

I have to remind myself to not be afraid of failure. I should be afraid to not try to succeed. I don’t know how far I can go if I don’t take the first step.

If I was always afraid of failing, there would be so many things I would not have now. I have to note those things, as instructed during the webinar, so I can rejuvenate those good feelings of finding success after the next step or corner.

I can use the mental bucket/written cards of feel-good feelings when I have a setback. The memory of accomplishing something is the vitamin boost I would need to move forward.

Meet Jennifer Scott

I am a supportive, compassionate and introverted individual who serves my community by day as an Engineer. Thanks Scott J

  • Thank you for sharing your thoughts and feelings. It is helpful and inspiring to keep me on moving forward with the process. To embrace the lessons, even the parts we don’t particularly like or are uncomfortable.
