I, too, am a recovering people-pleaser. To this day, I think there is some level of me making excuses for justifying my people-pleasing nature. I sometimes sacrifice my “little” goals and justify them by labeling them “an act of kindness.” This awareness is the dilemma I will have to address. It is a future topic of conversation.
