minutes remaining

This week has been like a tornado and avalanche coming at me from five directions at once. I’m not complaining, just busy. 😊 I took in three five, almost six month old kittens. Had to make sure they got their baby shots which were due months ago, micro-chipped and an appointment with the vet to get neutered, their rabies shots and checked to make sure they didn’t have feline leukemia.

I got lucky and another foster in our group came by and took my three with her kitties to the vet today. After planning to go over and help another lady cat person, later in the afternoon I realized I was feeling more tired than usual so I laid down for a short nap which became a five hour nap. Bless her heart she was open to tomorrow instead.

My homework is taking more than 90 minutes a day. I’m wondering if anyone else is using or needing more time.

Finding the positive side of life was been a part of my upbringing and I’ve continued to follow that path during my adult life. There are times however, being positive has not been enough to get me past the particular situation. This class is showing me how to reach the level of peace necessary to continue the care necessary for my husband.

When I miss the schedule for reading I’ve improvised in a way that lets me feel I’ve completed my 3 times daily honestly. I read Scroll 1 immediately regardless of the time, the second reading may come very soon after to get me back toward schedule and I have managed to get all the out loud bedtime readings.

Each day I know there will be improvement tomorrow.

  • Patricia, it does take some time to get every thing done. Sometimes starting is hard to do. So, maybe with the lesson that can take a while to read. Read one page just before or after breakfast. Maybe lunch and dinner too. Maybe do one of the cards too. That way at the end of the day there is not that much to read. This might be something that helps or not. Keep doing the great job you have been doing so far. It is worth the effort.
